Name: Juli Eck

Birthday: January 11, 1963

I moved to Memphis in 2004 for love. :) I was planning to open a studio in the spring of 2005, but instead I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer (4 different types!) and had to deal with that first.

Now that I'm well and my studio construction is complete, I'm happy to be starting my new business!

Past Hobbies:
Skydiving - I've been skydiving in Temple TX, Little Rock AR, Hazen AR, Bryon CA and Vandalia IL.
Scuba Diving - I've been scuba diving in Cozumel, Heber Springs, Lake Ouchita, Grand Cayman and Belize.
Showing Cattle - At the White County Fair.
Showing Quarter Horses - I showed for many years and won many all-around awards and saddles. :)
And I was a majorette in High School!

Favorite Restaurants:
Flemings in Memphis - It's near our house and you can find us often at the bar talking with bartenders Chad and John.
P.F. Changs in Memphis - Again, near the house.
Sakura in Memphis - Wow, you gotta try the Joyce roll!
Go Fish in Napa Valley - It's where I get my sushi fix when we're in Napa.
Bistro Don Giovani's in Napa Valley - I crave the Golden Marys and the lamb there!
Martini House in St. Helena - It's our favorite restaurant in Napa Valley, we always get the fabulous mushroom soup. yummmmmm....
Mon Ami Gabi at the Paris Hotel in Vegas - Of course we always get the steak.
Sensi at the Bellagio in Vegas - This is bar none, our favorite restaurant ever! Unbelievably good!
BluFin in New York on Times Square.
Nobu in New York.
Heaven on 7 in Chicago. Fabulous cajun food there!
Mori Motos in Philly.
Ozumo in SanFran. So yummy, but we had bad service when we last went there, so I'll have a hard time getting Bill to go back.

Favorite T.V. shows:
New favorite show is Fear Itself! It's a whole different show each week, and there's always a twist.
American Idol and Dancing With The Stars. I can't help it.
All of the Food Network.
Top Chef on Bravo. By far my favorite show!

The one thing that you would have to pry from my cold dead fingers? My IPhone!

One thing that people probably don't know about me? I have a really rare condition called automydriasis (I think I spelled it right). I can dilate and constrict my pupils at will. :)
